At the core of the Spyglass production studio are several full-featured edit suites based around either Final Cut Pro or the Adobe Creative Suite. We specialise in fast turnover corporate video supporting our events. This can include dramatic intro clips, viral invitations, retrospectives or effects driven set-pieces. We shoot and edit in any format (at your request) including HDV, Beta, right up to RED's 4K.
The New Zealand launch of the new Lexus ISF required a spot burning with energy. We met up with Toyota's 'tame' racing drivers at Mansfield race track and took a white-knuckle ride in the most powerful Lexus to date. A little different to a TVC, this internal clip needed to cover more than just mood and the car's obvious style. Lucky for us, the camera loves every little part of this car.
We understand that camera operators can easily become a hindrance in a busy operating room. More so than a film set, there are strict protocols to adhere to when filming surgery, and of course there is little room for re-takes. That's why we only allow our most disciplined people to shoot medical procedures, those with technical skill and of course the ability to stay out of the way!
It's always a proud occasion when the All Blacks get their new uniforms. They kicked off the 2007 season with state-of-the-art Adidas TechFit gear. Our job was to put together a short clip demonstrating the durability of the gear. The boys in black were more than happy to put their new garb to the test - putting shirts and shorts to trial by sprig and tackle.
