Dome Events

When big screens just don't cut it, you've got to start thinking beyond the plane. Previously, dome projection has been relatively inaccessible for the events market, the limitations being cost and lack of portability. Since 2007, when we provided the projection system for the world-famous "100% Pure New Zealand" Rugby Ball, we've been delving ever deeper into the world of spherical video projection.

Our 10m inflatable dome and 1.5m bowl are completely portable standalone systems. Our studio is equipped to storyboard, develop and produce content in the necessary pre-distorted format.

SPG - Vialactia 08

A bit of lateral thinking from Nicky at SPGTV saw the creation of our first projection bowl for Fonterra's ViaLactia stand.

At 1.5m in diameter, the bowl is easily served by a single high-brightness HD projector. This fantastic piece of plastic is ideal for installations at corporate events and expos. LIC Dome - Feild Days '08

Field Days is the biggest event of the year for North Island farming. In 2008, LIC was determined to make a big impression with the launch of their DNA Proven technology.

Tourism New Zealand Rugby Ball - Paris

In late 2007 we were contracted by Inside Out Productions to project media seamlessly over the interior of this giant inflatable rugby ball. Utilising a number of High-Definition sources, we were delivering video and motion graphics content at all angles, completely surrounding audiences with breathtaking scenery, transporting visitors from all over the world to our little piece of paradise.
